Zephyr (boy)

an unusual nature name (it means "west wind" or "gentle breeze"), with a hint of mythology (Zephyr was the Greek God of the west wind.) For those who are curious, Zephyr has been turned into a Disney character (Esmeralda's son in Hunchback of Notre Dame II), though I don't think that the film will give it a burst of popularity (i.e. Ariel and "The Little Mermaid"). My personal favorite combo is Zephyr Sage. (I think it sounds great, plus Sage is a nature name with the added bonus of wisdom)

Zephyr comes from the Greek Zephyros meaning "west wind." In Greek Mythology, Zephyr was the god of the west wind. Since the west wind was the most favorable wind, in Latin, Zephyrus was called Favonius, meaning "favorable." The other Greek winds were: Boreus (cold, north wind), Notus (south, bringing summer and autumn storms) and Eurus (east).
